I take a holistic view of programming and how it impacts an entire organization with regard to budgeting, branding, staffing, and outreach. If a government program is created, but no one knows about it, does it really exist?

Staff management

Centering workers is essential to accomplishing an organization’s goals. I have managed multi-tiered teams in nonprofits, campaigns, the private sector, and government. That includes field staff, engineers, data analysts, and communications professionals—all with an eye towards employee independence and professional development.

Political organizing

I have managed local and federal electoral campaigns since 2006, as well as advocacy campaigns on behalf of community-based organizations. I even ran for office in 2020 during the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Writing

I have written everything from blog posts and government grant applications to a 114 page thesis on grassroots political campaigns. If you need written content, or a punch up of existing text, I can handle it.
